including the opening seven bars of Davies's early Trumpet Sonata (1955), notated by the composer in pencil in open score on two systems, inscribed "for Linda Moody, with all good wishes", 1 page, folio, 30 x 21.3cm, 12-stave paper, no place or date, [possibly 1989]--TAVENERFrom his early motet In alium (1968), signed, notated in black ink on two staves with the words "Spem spem spem", 1 page, on card, with Tavener's name added in violet ink, trace of mount on the verso--RUTTER. From the Gloria (1974), five bars of the opening vocal section, the soprano part notated in black ink on a single stave with the words "Gloria in excelsis Deo", signed and inscribed ("John Rutter Cambridge 1987"), 1 page, c.10.5 x 25.5cm, 5-stave paper, cut from a larger sheet, 1987--JACOB. From Viola Concerto no.2 (1979) signed, notated in black in on a single stave, c.4 x 9cm, remains of mount on verso
