Catalogue Note

Henry Lowell Mason (1864-1957) was a piano manufacturer, the grandson of the hymn-composer Lowell Mason.  Paine's "Island Fantasy" was the original version of his orchestral work Poseidon and Amphitrite – An Ocean Fantasy, Op. 44, published in 1907.
