2 volumes, 4to (255 x 200mm.), copy number 31 from a limited edition of 140 copies, one of 30 copies with an additional double set of plates bound in (one black and one colour), signed by Gonin beneath the limitation, pochoir decoration and illustration by Schmied, bound at end of each volume a suite of 15 additional plates for the text (copy number 24 from a limited edition of 160 copies), each in 3 states, contemporary crushed red morocco by Max Fonsèque, red and green morocco onlays in the shape of a bull and of an elephant on each cover, spine lettered with green morocco onlays, green and red morocco turn-ins, thin-wove green silk over red paper pastedowns, gilt edges, matching red morocco chemises lettered in green morocco, card slipcases, chemises and slipcases slightly worn
