the slender baluster body rising from a spreading foot to a waisted neck flaring at the rim, the exterior covered in a vitreous raspberry-red glaze pooling slightly at the foot and draining to white at the rim, suffused with a network of fine crackle throughout, the interior and underside of the base covered with a crackled ivory-colored glaze

Condition

Four short rim cracks, the longest appearing to measure approximately 15 mm, although somewhat obscured by the extensive crackle in the glaze, primarily to the exterior of the vase and extending over the interior a maximum of 12mm. Several surface scratches to the glaze.
