Condition

The sculpture appears sound. There is some slight rubbing to some of the protruding edges of the work. There is a small casting flaw apparent to the centre of the base of the work. There are some traces of casting residue and oxidisation in places, most notably in a line running down the wing. There is some discolouration to the to of the bird's body and some light surface dirt in the pitted areas. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
