Condition

The sheet is affixed to the mount with tape along each of the edges. The sheet undulates slightly, but otherwise appears sound. There is some craquelure to the more thicker areas of the gouache, which has resulted in some small flecks of loss, apparent to the red and white pigments in the lower left and right quadrants, and a very small fleck of loss to the pink pigment at the centre of the right vertical edge. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. The work is window mounted and presented within a painted wooden frame, housed under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
