Condition
Not viewed out of the frame. The sheet appears to have been partially laid down onto the backboard in several places. The sheet undulates slightly, but otherwise the sheet appears sound. The edges of the sheet are uneven, which appears to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. There are several pinholes in each of the corners, which are slightly more prominent in the upper right corner, with one additional pinhole to the centre of each of the lower and upper horizontal edges, which all appear to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. The charcoal and pastel appear fresh and stable and, subject to the above, the work appears in very good overall condition.
The sheet is floated in a window mount, and presented in a wooden frame, held under glass.
