This work is in good overall condition as viewed, as is canvas which is clear and taut. There is evidence of light wear and cracking to pigment at the edges and corners of the work due to abrasions from the frame, but this does not affect the overall image. Upon close inspection, a faint network of hairline craquelure is visible, especially near the four corners of the painting, all stable and consistent with age. Upon close observation, there are few very small pinhole sized accretions visible at the surface of the canvas. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals areas of restoration along edges and corners of painting, small sporadic spots of restoration at background and areas of restoration at the periphery of some of the abstract formations.
