Condition
This work is in good overall condition as viewed, as is the canvas which is clear and taut. There is evidence of very light abrasions to the edges of the painting due to abrasions with the frame, but this does not affect the overall image. The paint layers are healthy overall. There is a very fine network of craquelure at areas of thicker impasto at upper left quadrant, only visible under very close inspection. There is one pinhole sized area of paint loss at the bottom right quadrant. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals small areas of restoration at the table at the bottom left and bottom right quadrants, very few small spots of restoration visible at blue pigment at upper right quadrant, and two areas of restoration visible at ham. Framed.
