The work is in good condition overall as viewed. There is evidence of minor wear and handling around the edges but does not take way from the overall quality of the work. The paint layers and impastos are healthy and in-tact. The colours appear brighter and more vibrant than they are on the catalogue illustration. Examination under ultraviolet light shows a few minor aged touch-ups predominantly along the middle register (orange and yellow paints of the sky, on the bottom of the purple mountain), and on the figure and boat, however this is not visible with the naked eye. Framed.
