The work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of minor wear and handling around the edges of the painting. Upon close observation, paint losses are visible on the bottom left quadrant (next to the wooden cart), on the top right corner (sky), on the trees (green paint), along with evidence of accretion on the middle of the top margin (sky). Otherwise, the paint layers are healthy. Examination under ultraviolet light shows very light aged touch-ups notably on the top left corner measuring approximately 3 1/2 in., sprinkled on the left margin (grass area), on the woman's face, baby's head, the area below the cart, and along the bottom margin. However, this is not visible with the naked eye. Framed.
