- Signed and dated 1954; signed twice, inscribed, numbered 128 and dated 23.6.54 on the reverse

- 45.5 by 60 cm.; 17 3/4 by 23 1/2 in.
Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the panel, which is free from warping and cracks. There is evidence of minor wear and handling around the edges of the painting, along with minute signs of craquelures and paint losses on the thinner paints such as the sky. There is also signs of media accretion due to the age of the work. However this does not effect the overall quality of the painting. Examination under ultraviolet light shows scattered specks of retouching predominantly on the front of the first boat and the sky. Framed.
