Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light wear and handling along the edges with associated hairline craquelure at the pull margins. The canvas is buckling slightly on its stretcher along the lateral edges, most noticeably along the left side. The colors are bright, fresh and clean. There are scattered areas of craquelure throughout, including diagonal craquelure in the upper left corner. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, some of the diagonal cracks in the upper left and along the right edge approximately 8-inches from the top flouresce darkly and appear to have benefitted from consolidation. Framed.
