Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount on the reverse of the top two corners. The sheet has darkened with age and the edges are mount stained (not visible when framed). The right edge is deckled and the left edge has been irregularly trimmed. There are artist's pinholes, including a cluster at center at the top edge and some minor creasing to the sheet. Scattered spots of foxing. A water stain to the figure's right leg just above the knee which may be inherent to the artist's process. Apart from some tiny losses to the green pigment, and some slight fading to the gouache, this work is in good condition.
