Description

carved recumbent, grasping a sprig of lotus in its beak, its head resting on its slumped body and its wings folded along its curling tail-feathers, its two claws neatly tucked beneath, the pale celadon stone picked out with natural light brown inclusions on the lotus sprigs and the feathers

Condition

The paperweight is in very good condition. There is some very minor occasional nibbling along the edge of the carving and light natural pitting on the surface jade.
