Catalogue Note

From a manuscript owned by Edgar Osborne (1890-1978), antiquary and librarian, collector and donor of the Osborne Collection of Children’s Books in Toronto; sold in our rooms 8 July 2008, lot 28, attributed tentatively to Poitiers. This is supported by the observation that the responsory to the 7th lesson in the Office of the Dead is almost exclusively found in Poitiers sources.
