Condition
Panel is uncradled. Surface is clean There are three horizontal joins and one horizontal crack at top, about four inches down from the top edge. Battens affixed to the reverse for support. There is overall very good preservation of the paint surface and detail is very well retained. Examination under UV light reveals retouching along the joins and crack; there are scattered very small retouches evenly distributed in the foreground figures and animals with a larger diagonal retouch on the standing cow at left side and an area in the background above the cow. A couple of other retouches in lower right corner. These have all been well applied and there is no need for any further work. Painting can be hung as is
