Condition

Panel is uncradled and beveled on all four sides. Under a slightly dirty old varnish. There is good preservation of the paint surface in the foreground landscape and figures. A slight degree of thinness can be seen in the browns of the thatched roof, the foliage of the tree at center and in the sky Some minor scuffing at edges. Under UV light: there are some scattered small retouches in the sky, mostly at the right side and including in the clouds around the figure of the woman lower right by the tree stump; some scattered on the house, the roof and on horse. In faux ebony wood frame.
