Condition

Both of these paintings are relined and in carved giltwood frames. The composition with the man has various retouches visible under UV. Kronos has retouches in his arms, beard, and forehead. The seated man has a few scattered retouches in his knuckles and wrist as well as in the cheeks and forehead. The skull to the right has a few small scattered retouches. The figure with the seated woman also has a few scattered retouches for reinforcement. In the background there is an area of consolidated retouching, as well as in her palm and a few small retouches in her wrist and elbow, as well as the skull in the mirror and. Despite the small scattered retouches these pictures both present strong images to the naked eye and could be hung in their current condition.
