Condition

Oil on canvas, with a relatively new lining. The surface is in generally good condition with a very fine stable web of craquelure. The picture service is generally clean. Under UV light, the varnish has been mostly cleaned off, though is still visible at the extreme edges and across the bottom half of the work. Scattered lines of retouching to address craquelure, especially in the lower left quadrant and around the left side of the figure. A few additional scattered spots and dashes of retouching in the table at right. In generally good condition.
