Condition
Oil on canvas, canvas is lined. Surface in generally good condition; very dirty old varnish with possible signs of smoke exposure. Stable craquelure throughout under varnish. Under UV: dots and dashes of inpainting in foreground and near lower right edge; signs of older inpainting at horizon line. Remainder of canvas under old varnish which fluoresces green.
