Oil on canvas, lined. The surface is somewhat flattened and thin in areas with a stable web of craquelure but in overall good condition. The varnish is somewhat milky along the right edge. Minor loss in the background to the left of the sitters proper right shoulder. Another small loss to the sitters proper left forearm. Discolored retouching in the sitters chest. Under UV light, the picture is obscured by a green fluorescing varnish. Framed in a gold painted plaster frame. Losses to the center top and bottom of this frame.
