Hagar and the Angel: Oil on panel, with a wax covered back. Slightly convex. There are horizontal cracks across the surface, resultant from panel movement. The work is covered in a very shiny varnish. Abrasions and losses at the extreme edges. Under UV light, there is retouching apparent around the aforementioned cracks. Hagar and Ismael: Oil on panel, with a vertical panel crack visible. The crack has been filled by a glue and/or wax substance. The panel is convex from top to bottom. The picture is covered n a very shiny varnish. Additional older horizontal panel cracks visible in the sky. Under UV light, there are scattered retouches visible throughout.
