Condition

Oil on canvas, lined. The work has been somewhat flattened by this lining. The picture surface is clean and fresh. Abrasions to the paint layer are visible in the lower left quadrant and in some areas of the landscape. A few scattered discolored retouches are visible in the landscape near center. Under UV light, both older and newer retouches are visible throughout. The majority of the dogs remain covered in a green fluorescing varnish, though the shadows and darks around the water and landscape have in many cases been strengthened. In a gold wood frame and ready to hang in its current state.
