Oil on canvas. The original canvas is lifting from the lining at the upper right edge. There is a scuff below the proper left elbow. The surface is covered with a yellowed, dirty varnish and surface dirt. A stable web of cracked the lower over the surface. Some thinness, especially in the darks. Under UV light, there is an area of retouching at the center of the subject's forehead. Additional older scattered retouches throughout the top portion of her costume. The majority of the work is covered by a green fluorescing varnish. Scattered retouching to the background as well.
