Condition

Spring: oil on canvas with a wax lining. Scattered retouches are visible in the background especially above Spring's upraised arm; at the edges; and a few scattered in her upraised arm and in her face. The majority of these have discolored slightly lighter than the painting. Additional scattered dots of retouching visible in her gown. Summer: The work is covered in a yellowed drippy varnish. Under UV lights there is a green fluorescing varnish that it's yours the majority of the work. There are scattered spots of retouching along the upper edge and older areas of retouching along the left and right edges. Additional scattered spots along the lower edge as well as some older areas of in paint in the background. A few scattered pinpoint pricks in the face and arm. Winter: Oil on canvas with a wax reline. The surface is an overall good condition aside from a dirty varnish and areas of fitness this bestially in the sky and in the brown cloak. There are areas of retouching throughout the background that are visible to the naked eye. Under UV light they're scattered areas of retouching throughout that was specially in the lower right corner and in the tree at upper right. Additional pinprick dots and dashes visible in the man's hat and in his cloak and hands. Fall: Oil on canvas with a wax reline. The surface is an overall good condition aside from fitness and retouches especially at the edges that are visible to the naked eye. Under UV light be scattered retouches visible especially in the background fluoresce. Additional scattered areas of retouching and strengthening to some of the outlines are visible throughout the figure
