Condition

Oil on paper laid down on panel. Some edges of panel slightly rough. Panel slightly convex towards right side. The image stops 1/2 inch from top edge and up to a 1/4 from right edge, though this is not visible in the current framing. Surface in overall good condition, aside from surface dirt and vertical lines of disturbance to the picture surface related to laying the sheet onto the panel. A few spots of inpainting in the man's dress visible to the naked eye. Under UV light: These previously mentioned spots fluoresce, though the majority of the work is obscured by the varnish.
