Condition

Oil on canvas with an old lining. There is a stable web of craquelure and minor pigment separation, especially in the background. There is an area of retouching visible to the naked eye along the upper edge of the work. Under UV light, there is a dark green fluorescing varnish which obscures the majority of the canvas.
