Condition

Both works are oil on canvas, with an old lining. Surface dirt and a yellowed varnish. The canvas is somewhat flattened and there are thin areas throughout. Minor frame abrasion at the extreme edges. In "Ruins by an Inlet", there is a white accretion at the center of the left edge and in the lower center. In "Ruined Colonnade", there are white abrasions in the arch at the upper right. Under UV light, there are older repaints scattered across the surface.
