Condition

Oil on canvas. Lined. The picture surface is covered by a stable web of craquelure, which is very slightly textured, but does not detract from the overall work. Frame abrasions at all edges. A minor scuff and loss in the architecture at upper left and another in the tiles near the lower left corner. Under UV light, there are a few small scattered spots of in painting across the surface. There is a diagonal line of inpaint extending from the sculpture in the niche at far right four inches into the architecture. Another spot of retouching evident in the kneeling figure at far left and in front of his kneeler. In overall good condition and ready to hang.
