Oil on copper. The copper has small holes and raised nailheads from a previous framing mechanism around the extreme edges, though these are not visible in the current framing. The surface is in generally good condition. There is thinness in the Virgins blue cloak at lower left. The paint is thin in the rocks behind the Magdalene and the sky around Christ as well. Scattered areas of retouched loss that have discolored are visible throughout the background. Under you the light very little is visible to the naked I do the varnish appears somewhat trippy and milky across the bottom half of the picture.
