The crest and coronet are those of Barons Revelstoke, probably for the banker Edward Charles Baring (1828-1897), a grandson of Sir Francis Baring, 1st Bt. (1740-1810), founder of Barings Bank. He was elevated to the peerage as Baron Revelstoke in 1885.
