Description

  • bronze, giltbronze and marble
  • each 90.5cm high; 2ft. 11½in.
each with four candelarms in the form of sprays of lilies held by a cherub standing on a socle with scrolled corbels at each angle flanking panels applied with a patera above crossed ribbon-tied laurel sprays on a concave-sided square base; formerly fitted for electricity

Condition

In overall good condition. Very miniscule tarnishing and surface dirt to the gilt-bronze and very minor chips to the marble base. There are a couple of medium sized chips to the corner of one marble base. The cherubs have some wax residue but this does not detract from the piece.
