Decorated with a fringe of gold grapevine leaves alternating with grape clusters composed of purple and green glass beads, suspended from a gold chain, gross weight approximately 30 dwts, length 16 inches; circa 1880.
Condition
In good condition considering the age of the piece. The gold shows slight scratching and some discoloration where the glass grape clusters attach to the necklace. The glass grapes range from gray purple to purple to green in color and the individual grapes are articulated. The piece is signed on the back of one of the leaves near the clasp of the necklace. Please note that several of the glass beads have become detached.
