Designed as a voluminous tulip blossom, the petals set with numerous round and oval-shaped rubies weighing 86.15 carats, the leaf set with single-cut diamonds weighing 5.30 carats, completed by a stem set with three emeralds weighing 2.05 carats, signed Michele della Valle, numbered 150753.

Condition

In very good condition. The metal shows very little indication of use. Secured with a double pinned clip and with Italian maker's mark. The rubies range in color from a bright medium slightly purplish red to a medium-deep very slightly purplish red, and are slightly to moderately included. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS clarity. The emeralds are a medium to medium-deep very slightly bluish green with moderate inclusions. Dimensions approximately 3 1/2 inches by 2 inches. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 71012 stating that an excess of 50% of the rubies tested at random are of Burmese origin, the vast majority with no indications of heating.
