The rectangular jewelry case composed of brown alligator leather, with various fitted compartments, the interior with a mirror, measuring approximately 11¾ by 7 by 3¼ inches, with a key and lock closure, signed Cartier, Paris; circa 1927. With fitted cover.

Condition

In overall good condition. The dimensions of the box are approximately 11 3/4 by 7 by 3 1/4 inches and it is signed on the strike plate. Small puncture marks are confined to a centralized space on the top of the box. Wear is found at the corners of the box and at seam junctures on the handle. Very slight marks are found throughout the velour casing inside the box but only noticeable upon close inspection. The mirror exhibits some discoloration in an irregular pattern but it remains clear and reflective. Accompanied by a key and protective carrying case, the case exhibiting slight ware, few threadbare areas and slight discoloration within from the metal on the hinge of the case.
