Centering an emerald-cut emerald measuring approximately 11.0 by 8.9 by 5.2 mm, the frame set with old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 9.05 carats, gross weight approximately 9 dwts; circa 1870.

Condition

In good condition. The emerald weighs approximately 3.80 carats, and is medium-deep green and slightly included. Under magnification, some surface-reaching fractures are present as well as some minor to moderate chips to the pavilion. The diamonds are approximately H-J color, SI-I clarity and a few of the diamonds exhibit moderate chips. The silver-topped gold exhibits tarnish, commensurate with age. The pendant loop is detachable. Length including pendant loop is approximately 1 3/4 inches. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 67751 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity enhancement: insignificant, type: traditional.
