The curved gold links spaced by rectangular segments applied with carved lapis lazuli, gross weight approximately 41 dwts, length 6½ inches, signed Cartier Paris, with French assay marks; circa 1940.

Condition

In good condition with some light scratching and minor discoloration to the gold, commensurate with wear and age. The lapis lazuli segments are a deep cobalt blue and well-matched for color, with some light dappling of pyrite throughout. Two of the segments display relatively sizeable cracks, but remain stable and intact. Gross weight approximately 41 dwts, length approximately 6 1/2 inches. Signature partially rubbed.
