The multi-strand necklace composed of numerous aquamarine beads, the clasp and detachable brooch set with round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.45 carats, the brooch further set with cabochon and round turquoises, completed by cabochon and faceted emeralds and rubies, necklace length 22 inches, adjustable.
Condition
In good condition. Solder marks appear to the underside of the brooch as well as light discoloration to the underside of the setting. Mounted in both 18-karat and 14-karat gold. The turquoise displays a strong and vibrant light slightly greenish blue hue. The diamonds are approximately H-J color and predominantly VS clarity. The semi-transparent cabochon emeralds display a slightly brownish green hue. The faceted emeralds are eye-clean and display a medium-light very slightly bluish green hue. Blue stones may be tanzanite or iolite. Due to limitations imposed by mounting, a refractive index could not be obtained. The aquamarine beads display a medium-light blue hue. Necklace clasp appears under the brooch-pendant portion at the front of the necklace.
