Lavender Jadeite and Diamond Pendant Necklace

Centring on a translucent lavender jadeite cabochon, surrounded by brilliant-cut diamonds, to a surmount set with a pear-shaped diamond, the diamonds together weighing approximately 3.65 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and pink gold, also accompanied by a rope necklace, maximum length approximately 720mm. 

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the lavender jadeite cabochon is natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the lavender jadeite cabochon is translucent, of medum purple hue, with white cloud inclusions which is very common in lavender jadeite and not noticeable when worn. Pear-shaped diamond in the surmount weighing approximately 0.70 carat, is about F to G colours, VS clarity. Other smaller diamonds in the surround are probably of similar quality. Condition: Karat white gold mount, open-back setting, in very good condition.
