Of floral motif, designed as three flowers highlighted by five pearls measuring approximately 6.38 to 5.15mm, suspending cascading fringes terminating on seven natural pearl drops measuring approximately 8.90 - 9.75 x 12.30mm to 8.50 x 7.40 x 6.60mm, embellished by brilliant-cut and baguette diamonds together weighing approximately 6.00 carats, mounted in platinum, signed and numbered N.Y.18218, one diamond deficient.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to SSEF report, the seven pearl drops are natural, saltwater pearls. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, these pearls are of semi-baroque drop-shape, of white colour with good lustre. Upon close check, one pearl drop suspending on the bottom has slightly uneven nacre surface with natural grooves on its back, while other pearls have minor surface blemishes which are not noticeable unless close look. Other pearls on top are round or off-round to naked eyes, good lustre with minor surface blemishes. Diamonds are about G to H colours, mostly VS clarity. Signed and numbered on the back.
Condition: Vintage brooch, with signs of wear to the mount, one small diamond on the back is missing but not seen in the obverse, otherwise in good condition.
