Catalogue Note

We are grateful to the Artist for his kind assistance with the cataloguing of the present work.

‘I decided to become an artist at about the age of sixteen … I noted my decision – "I will be an artist" – on an imaginary piece of paper and I tucked it under my imaginary mattress and I’ve never really fetched it out again to re-examine it.’
