Condition
The sheet is taped into an acidic mount along all four sides. When view unframed from the reverse it is possible to see pinholes along the upper edge of the sheet and in the lower left corner. The sheet is cockled and there is evidence of foxing in the unpainted parts of the sheet including in the lower left quadrant and in the sheet music. There are some scratches and scuffs to the surface of the sheet which appear to be consistent with the artist's working method. With the exception of the above the work appears to be in very good overall condition and the pigments are strong and fresh.
The work is presented in a window mount and fluted wooden frame, held behind glass.
