There are several small areas of paint loss associated with these areas of painting cracking, with further scattered losses elsewhere. At the extreme right edge of the composition several of these areas appear to have been retouched. There are two diagonal creases at the upper right corner of the composition, with further associated paint losses, one of which may have been retouched. There are two light diagonal scratches in the lower left corner of the composition. Light surface dirt and studio detritus is visible in scattered areas of the composition. With the exception of the above the work is in overall good condition.
