- 57.5 by 105 by 22cm.; 22¾ by 41¼ by 8¾in.
Provenance
Flowers East, London, where acquired by the present owner in 1994
Condition
The board appears sound. There is some very slight rubbing to some of the protruding edges of the board, with some extremely small flecks of associated paint loss, only visible upon very close inspection. There are some faint lines of cracking visible in the two lowest points between the three raised elements, thought to be inkeeping with the nature of the shaped board. There is a small scratch to the lower horizontal edge of the rectangle at the top of the central raised element. With minor traces of surface dirt visible on close inspection.
Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching.
The work is presented in a simple painted wooden frame.
