  • oil on canvas
  • 142 by 81cm.; 56 by 32in.

Provenance

Acquired directly from the Artist by the father of the present owner

Condition

Oil on original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There appear to be one or two losses to the tips of the raised impasto. There are a few very minor lines of reticulation. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in some of the more impasto areas of paint. There is some light surface dirt. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals some fluorescence, which appears inkeeping with the artist's materials. The work is presented in a simple wooden batten frame.
