Condition
The sheet appears sound. The work is completed on half a folded sheet of paper, and the part of the folded sheet without the drawing on is affixed with four tabs at the upper horizontal edge to the mount. There are several pinholes at the edges of the sheet, only visible when the work is work is viewed unframed, and two visible pinholes, one to the upper right and one to the lower right quadrants, all of which are thought to be inkeeping with the artist's working method. There are some traces of adhesive around the edges of the work, thought to be from a previous mount, only visible when viewed unframed. There is some time-staining to the sheet, and also some staining to the edges of the sheet from a previous acidic mount. There are some very light scattered spots of foxing across the sheet. There is some very light surface dirt across the work. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition.
The work is window-mounted and presented in a simple square-profile wooden frame, housed under glass.
