Condition
Original canvas. The canvas appears sound. There is an extremely tiny pressure mark towards the upper left of the painted wall, only visible upon very close inspection. There are some very fine lines of reticulation, most apparent in the darker pigments. There are a few extremely minor lines of craquelure, visible upon very close inspection, primarily to the upper left quadrant. There is a light scuff towards the lower right vertical edge. There is some very light surface dirt, including a spot of staining to the sky in the upper left. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals a very tiny speck of fluorescence which corresponds to the aforementioned pressure mark in the upper left quadrant.
The work is presented in a painted wooden frame.
