Condition

The sheet is affixed to the mount with one tab at the upper horizontal edge. The sheet is housed in an acidic mount, from which we would advise that it be removed. The sheet undulates slightly, with one or two soft creases towards the upper and lower horizontal edges. The pigments of the ink have faded, apparent only when viewed unframed. There are one or two lines of very minor reticulation, visible only upon very close inspection. There is some time staining to the sheet, most probably as a result of exposure to light. There is some very light surface dirt and studio detritus. The work is window-mounted and presented in a simple wooden frame, held under glass. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
