- Dame Lucie Rie
- A footed conical bowl
- impressed with potter's seal
- porcelain with manganese sgraffito and inlaid decoration
- height: 9cm.; 3½in.; diameter: 19cm.; 7½in.
- Executed circa 1970s.
Condition
There is a small instance of old restoration to the outside rim of the bowl, possibly in line with a minor hairline, visible upon very close inspection and under ultraviolet light, with a resulting lower 'ring' to the bowl. There are one or two tiny instances of minor glaze imperfections to the rim, only visibly upon extremely close inspection, but these excepting the work appears in good overall condition.
